Cruck Barn, Patterdale (sleeps 2) 
Cruck Barn, originally a small barn for housing cattle, is now a spacious holiday home for 2.
There is one large main sitting room which includes a kitchen and dining area. Off this is one spacious double bedroom. The bathroom has wc, bath and shower (over the bath). The kitchen has an electric cooker and microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher and a washer /dryer. Linen and towels are provided. Heating is by electric night storage heaters. The price includes all electricity costs.
There is a CD player. Please note that although there is a TV and DVD there is no TV reception.
Cots and high-chairs are available.
Mobile phone reception is poor at Cruck Barn, but improves slightly as you go up the valley. There is good reception in Patterdale.
We regret - no pets.
Access to Cruck Barn is by a single track unpaved gated road, about a mile long.
Cruck Barn lies adjacent to one of the main footpaths up to Helvellyn and Fairfield, and is ideal as a base for walking holidays. It is isolated and quiet and about two miles from local shops.
