Sweet Treats by Martin Frickel is the brainchild of award-winning Lake District chef, Martin Frickel. Available as 2-piece, 4-piece or 6-piece box, Sweet Treats include a selection of brownies, blondies, rocky road and the ever-popular cookie bar.

Our guests can also choose the Luxury Christmas Cake, loaded with boozy fruits and finished with roasted nuts and traditional fruits.

Sweet Treats
Martin Frickel came up with the idea of Sweet Treats during lockdown as a way to continue his passion for pastry when much of the UK's hospitality industry was forced to close.

The four variations - brownies, blondies, rocky road and cookie bar - will change regularly to reflect the seasons but will typically include favourites such as Salted Pretzel Caramel Brownie, White Chocolate and Raspberry Blondie and Oreo Shores Rocky Road, to name a few.

Mini Luxury Christmas Cake
For a limited time Martin will also be offering his luxury Christmas Cake, a 9cm brandy-laced Christmas Cake loaded with matured boozy fruits, finished with delicious roasted nuts and traditional fruits. Each cake typically serves 2-4 and is individually wrapped, ready for your enjoyment.

Lake District Private Dining
Martin is also available for your very own private dining event in the comfort of your Matson Ground Holiday Cottage. With a background in fine dining, having worked in some of Cumbria's best restaurants, including L'Enclume in Cartmel and Forestside in Grasmere.

Martin champions the finest local ingredients and mixes them with influences from Scandinavia and Asia. The results are simply amazing.
