Elm How (sleeps 10, as of January 2009 sleeps 8) and Cruck Barn (sleeps 2) are in the Grisedale Valley above
Patterdale, near Ullswater. Eagle Cottage (sleeps 4) sits slightly above
Glenridding.

Access to Elm How and Cruck Barn is by a single track
unpaved gated road, about a mile long. Adjacent to one of the main footpaths up to
Helvellyn and Fairfield, they are ideal as a base for walking holidays. Isolated and quiet
and about two miles from local shops. Supermarkets considerably further afield.

All three are comfortably furnished with well-equipped kitchens.
Cots and high-chairs are available. Linen and towels are provided in all units. All
have night storage heaters. Elm How and Eagle Cottage have open fires with fuel
provided. Night storage use of electricity is included in the hire charge.
The
price includes all electricity costs.

All have TV, and DVD - but Elm How and Cruck Barn have NO TV
RECEPTION
There is pay phone at Eagle Cottage, but there are no phones at Elm How or Cruck
Barn.
Please note that most mobile phones do not work at Elm How and Cruck
Barn.
